The Whole Dog Experience

Doguroo is Atlanta's full-service dog care destination.
Our goal is to enhance the lives of dogs and their parents
through a holistic and uncompromising offering of services,
products, and education.


We love to lend a paw in support of our local community.  The DOGUROO Pack is honored to contribute to and promote the efforts of the rescue, charity, and health advocacy communities in the following ways:

  • Raising cash/food contributions
  • Donating auction items
  • Hosting dog wash fundraisers
  • Sponsoring & attending events
  • Providing contest prizes and goodie bag items

Thanks to the efforts of our entire Pack, we’ve had a paw in raising almost $50,000 to date for the community:

 

Here’s a list of some of the wonderful organizations we’ve had the privilege to work with and the great things they are doing!

AHIMSA House, meaning “non-violence” in Sanskrit, is Georgia’s first and only organization dedicated to helping the human and animal victims of domestic violence reach safety together.  Visit their website.

 

Animal Action Rescue is a non breed specific animal rescue organization.  They are dedicated to the rescue of animals from high-kill shelters, promoting spay/neuter programs, and educating every new pet parent.  Visit their website.

 

The Arthritis Foundation helps people take control of their arthritis and is the world’s largest contributor to arthritis research.  They even support pet arthritis education and research!  We support and encourage everyone to participate in their annual Arthritis Walk!  Visit their website.

The Atlanta Dog Squad is a nonprofit, all volunteer organization dedicated to rescuing, fostering, and re-homing retreivers, labs, goldens, flat coats, and retriever mixes.  Visit their website.

The Atlanta Humane Society (AHS) represents one of our longest-running partnerships.  Their dedication to adoptable animals and capacity to make a difference in the Atlanta animal community as well as throughout the Southeast is an inspiration to our Pack!  Please consider adopting your next pet from AHS and join us at their annual Pet Parade!  Visit their website.

 

Atlanta Lab Rescue is an all volunteer, nonprofit organization whose mission is to identify and rescue labs from overwhelmed shelter and abusive situations and place them in secure, loving homes.  Visit their website.

 

Atlanta Pet Rescue is a nonprofit, volunteer-based, no-kill shelter dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating dogs and cats so they can be adopted into safe and loving forever homes.  Visit their website.

 

Atlantic Station, right around the corner from DOGUROO, is one of our Pack’s favorite destinations!  They host several charity events each year, including the Atlanta Humane Society’s Pet Parade in 2012.  Visit their website.

 

Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta is the world’s leading resource for families and doctors looking for expert medical information to treat illnesses and injuries.  Their mission:  To make kids better today and healthier tomorrow.  Visit their website.

 

Daffy’s Pet Soup Kitchen supports pets and their parents by donating pet food to families experiencing financial hardship.  They also work to make spaying & neutering more accessible.  We admire Daffy’s mission keep pets in their loving homes.  Visit their website.

 

Friends of DeKalb Animals is a nonprofit group created by the volunteers of Animal Action Rescue.  Their goal is to save the loves of at least 50 animals from DeKalb County Animal Services each month.  Visit their website.

 

The Junior League of DeKalb County is an organization of women committed to promoting volunteerism, developing the potential of women, and improving communities through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.  Visit their website.

 

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS)  is the world’s largest voluntary health agency dedicated to blood cancer.  They host fundraising events throughout the year, including the annual Light the Night Walk.  Visit their website.

 

Lifeline Animal Project works with the community and local shelters so that every dog and cat will have a place to call home.  They offer homeless pet adoptions and provide low-cost spay/neuter services to the public and assistance for feral and stray cats.  Visit their website.

 

Morris Brandon Elementary School is a top-ranked public school in Atlanta.  Through a variety of innovative programs and events, Brandon students benefit by approaching things by the book… as well as out of the box.  Visit their website.

 

New Spirit 4 Aussie Rescue (NS4AR) is a local network of volunteers that foster homeless animals as pets until adoption.  The spirit and compassion that these volunteers show is truly heart-warming!  Visit their website.

 

PAWS Atlanta is a private, nonprofit animal welfare organization.  They provide love, nutrition, medical care, and basic training to enrich the loves of homeless animals until permanent, safe homes can be found.  Visit their website.
